Bowl from chestnut wood, wooden bowl in chestnut

I handturned this chestnut bowl from locally sourced chestnut wood. The tree stood close to the town of Gießen and had to be removed due to construction work for a building. The bowl has a nice elegant form and due to its color and slightly spalted wood its a really nice decorative element for your home. If required it could be also used as a fruit bowl.
