Shallow Bowl from yew with natural edge, endgrain plate

Flat bowl  or platter from locally sourced yew wood. I turned this bowl wet and while drying the bowl had only minimal wrapping, however the bowl has a nice

form and looks a bit like a big leafe fallen down from a tree. The bark stays on quite well.

Best use for this bowl would be for presenting nice things, or simply as a fruit bowl.

For cleaning you can use a damp towel and you can oil using a food save oil if the surface gets dull after some years.
